FaceTime Tips
As you know that FaceTime for Mac is still no way to call the number out the phone book (Address Book) but there is some tips that use facetime for Mac in order to use facetime full potential.
After you install facetime on your Mac, you can call by enter the list below:
- facetime://phone# as a URL in Safari’s address bar
- facetime://email@address
- facetime://applied
After test facetime make we know that it can call phone number without prefix number like (+66) by using (facetime://phonenumber) when you call browers will call facetime immediately. Moreover these can use by the same approach on Safari’s, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and also for the older version.
Also on the keyboard (Shortcuts) of FaceTime for Mac that Apple not mention:
Cmd +1 : called Favorites
Cmd +2 : called Recents
Cmd +3 : called Contacts
We expected that after this website developers would use the same principle to allow a link to the page directly from FaceTime as we saw with e-mail links on web pages.
